Our farms share the vision of building community, farming with integrity, and growing high quality food with fair prices for all involved. Offering CSA shares at subsidized rates always has been and always will be a core part of this commitment. And community contributions have always been integral to making this possible. How does it work?
Low income community members can purchase a share at 50% cost*, donations support the farms in covering the remainder costs for the share, and occasionally additional support when falling behind on payments
Subsidized CSA members receive the same bountiful weekly harvest as all other members. A unique opportunity to support community members by offering sustained access to fresh, nutritious food and the peace of mind that comes with knowing we’ll have a fresh harvest for them each week.
The Nitty Gritty
Subsidized CSA Cost is always based off the lowest share price (farm or free choice pickup), but members may choose any pickup or delivery method at no additional charge to ensure accessibility. Subsidized CSA eligibility is based on SNAP/WIC eligibility guidelines.
Your donations are held in a separate account that is 100% dedicated to supporting Subsidized CSA members
