NYC-based chef Natasha Pickowicz (and former Ithaca resident!) will be hosting a Chinese-style hot pot fundraiser for Stick & Stone Farm. Guests will be treated to an opening reception with snacks inspired by her cookbook Everyone Hot Pot, plus cocktails and live music, followed by a seated, communal, family-style feast highlighting the beautiful fall produce of Stick & Stone Farm. Hot pot is the interactive meal where no two experiences are alike: guests will be presented with an array of bite-sized morsels of uncooked food, like mushrooms, tofu, squash, leafy greens, herbs and noodles. Then, the guests will cook the bites of food themselves over a shared bubbling pot of flavorful, nourishing broth. There will be additional dishes to complement the soup, plus flavorful dipping sauces and cold beverages. For dessert, guests will be treated to a light, not-too-sweet array of fresh fruit. 

100% of the nights profits will benefit Full Plate Farm Collective Subsidized CSA members.

About Natasha

Natasha Pickowicz is a California born, New York City–based chef, a four-time James Beard Foundation Award finalist, and the author of More Than Cake, which was a New York Times Best Cookbooks of 2023 as well as a 2023 James Beard Foundation finalist. Her follow up cookbook, Everyone Hot Pot, was published by Artisan Books in January 2026.

Much of her culinary work explores the relationship between food and social justice, including ongoing collaborations with seminal New York City institutions like Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, God’s Love We Deliver, the Brigid Alliance, and Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, for whom she produced a massive city-wide bake sale, raising more than $300,000 between 2017 and 2025.
